Description

Restaurant "Reka" is a place where you can admire beautiful views of the Moscow River, enjoy exquisitely prepared dishes of Japanese and European cuisine and just have a good rest in a cozy place

The Reka restaurant has many options for a good rest. You can have dinner in the restaurant, relax in the lounge area or spend time in the bar, or you can throw out your emotions in the karaoke bar, which has a large terrace. This establishment is universal and is equally suitable for quiet evenings with family, lovely meetings with friends or a loved one. In addition, here you can hold any corporate event at a decent level and, we are sure, your guests will be satisfied.

The restaurant's chef Michel Lombardi initially developed his style in establishments in London, Toronto and Milan. Arriving in Moscow, he helped Reka create its own image and style, which is now strictly observed. The establishment's staff is always ready to answer your questions and help as needed. A skilled sommelier will make your task of choosing wine easier, since it is quite difficult to choose it on your own for some dishes.

The design of “River” perfectly combines a warm homely atmosphere and unique elegance. The design was created by an Italian architect who designed Prada boutiques for fifteen years.

While enjoying exquisite dishes from the famous Italian chef Michel Lombardi, each visitor can admire the picturesque view of the Moscow River itself (hence the name of the complex). And the interior will remind you of home comfort.

Restaurant and club rolled into one

In the establishment you can relax in the karaoke room. Its main feature is the most modern technology that a club can be equipped with. This is what makes this place unique. One building combines a restaurant with amazing dishes from the legendary Michel Lombardi and a modern karaoke club located on the terrace.

This is where you can spend a quiet evening in the bar itself or in the Restaurant and karaoke club also at your disposal.

Location

The Moscow River restaurant is located in close proximity to the Kropotkinskaya metro station. She is required to turn towards the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and go around it in the direction of the river. Your view will open to a pedestrian street that you need to cross and go down to Bersenevskaya embankment. You need to walk along this embankment in the direction of the arrow of the island, namely, to reach the complex of “Red October” buildings.

On the left side there is a turn into Bersenevsky Lane, from where you need to turn left again into an arch closed by a metal gate, which will lead you to the cozy courtyard of the building where the restaurant is located. The complex belongs to the fourth floor.

From the metro station, provided you take a leisurely walk, your journey will last no more than ten minutes.

Interior features

Made in Italian style, matching the presented kitchen. The design corresponds to all new fashion trends and global trends. The highlight is the exclusive designer furniture. And the lighting elements in the form of lamps were custom-made according to the personal sketches of the designers.

“River” is a restaurant whose interior was designed by the Italian architect Giuso della Gusta. The process was led by a man who worked closely with the Prada house - Vincenzo Casini. He was able to bring into reality the owners' wishes for a combination of elegant space and home comfort, which is very unusual.

Every detail of the interior was thought out with special care. It is thanks to this that harmony and comfort reign in the premises of the restaurant and club, and also fully reflects the sense of style of its owner.

Here you can see a luxurious bar counter, endowed with an infinity effect, near which you can spend the evening, sitting on comfortable chairs. Simplicity with sophistication of exclusive furniture and lamps, as well as a successful solution to zoning the space, favorably emphasize the status of the complex.

The philosophy of the cuisine of the restaurant "Reka"

The restaurant's kitchen is headed by a chef from France of Italian origin, Michel Lombardi. He owes his talent to his mother, who once revealed to him all the secrets of preparing homemade dishes.

“Reka” is a restaurant whose kitchen adheres to the following basic principles:

  • only fresh and high-quality ingredients;
  • the boundless imagination of the master;
  • traditions of home cooking combined with the latest technologies.

Restaurant & Club REKA welcomes its first guests on the summer veranda with the best View Point on Red October. The Red October Art Center, long loved by Moscow's advanced intelligentsia, has acquired a decent restaurant with breathtaking views of the Crimean Bridge, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the flood of the Moscow River.
Now in the very center of a bustling metropolis you can enjoy the best panoramas of the city, original cuisine based on fresh seasonal products and modern music.
In addition to a cozy lounge terrace with exclusive views, Reka offers a whole range of summer entertainment: from an original fresh menu to current parties with iconic musicians and promoters. Among other “attractions”, it is worth mentioning the “bartenders stage” - a contact bar counter is located directly above the water’s edge, offering an impressive selection of original cocktails. Another distinctive feature of the “river” veranda is the presence of a separate VIP room in the open air.
The menu at Reka was invented and implemented by the young talented chef Artem Martirosov. According to him, the surrounding water space dictates the main gastronomic emphasis: light Mediterranean cuisine, in which fresh seafood and the author’s relaxed imagination play the main role.
Among the signature dishes, gazpacho with cherries and basil ice cream served with shrimp (730 rubles), hot saffron risotto with salmon tartare (580 rubles) and aromatic lamb soup (490 rubles) attract attention.
The original presentation will certainly be appreciated by anyone who has ever had a picnic by the river: dishes are served in buckets with clothespins, in cast iron pots, on specially aged wooden boards with parchment and on clay trays. At the same time, guests will be pleasantly surprised by affordable prices.
During the day, on the River veranda you can enjoy a view lunch with a 20 percent discount.
In the evenings, and especially at night, the River turns into an incendiary party place! The art director of Reka, the famous DJ and promoter Artem Arshanitsa, is responsible for the energy of live concerts on the open terrace, one of those people thanks to whom the domestic underground techno scene lives and develops. Every Thursday, guests are treated to parties with the legendary promoter Sergei Sergeev. On Saturday, guests will enjoy tours of fashionable Western performers, and on Sundays - popular intellectual music. There will be no repetitions. Not on the menu, not in the bar list, not in the evening program. Each time - into a new River!
Despite talk about the future of Red October, new places continue to appear there: on the site of the ingloriously closed Progressive Daddy club, which everyone knew that it looked like the “Roof of the World” and that it also had an outstanding veranda, but which no one had been to , “The River” opened - a new place from the creators of the theater-club “Workshop” and the city cafe on Nikitsky “Children of Rayka”. Little remained from the interior of the previous club - the new owners of the place preferred historical walls and ceilings, a view of the river and more free space to luxury. Concerts at the club promise to be interesting; incredible, but true: today the New York street brass ensemble Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, consisting of eight children of American trumpeter Phil Koran, is performing there - a group that would be difficult to imagine performing in Moscow anywhere other than the Dom cultural center. Prices in the bar and kitchen of “Reki” are significantly higher than in the same “Workshop” - the location obliges.
