We wash the chicken eggs, put them in cold water, put them on the fire and cook for 8-9 minutes after boiling. Fill with cold water, leave for 5-8 minutes, peel and cut into cubes.

Cut the pickled cucumber lengthwise into 2 halves, drain the liquid and cut into cubes. You can also use pickled cucumbers for cooking, but vinegar is added to the marinade to preserve them, which reduces the content of vitamins and microelements.

Sometimes it happens that if you make even small changes to a traditional, long-familiar and familiar salad, you get a very interesting taste effect. Try, for example, replacing one ingredient in a crab stick salad - instead of fresh cucumbers, use pickled cucumbers - and you will see that a new taste can be achieved with the most minimal means.

Ingredients:

  • Crab sticks, fresh or frozen - 200 grams,
  • Eggs 5 pieces,
  • Canned corn 300 grams,
  • Pickled cucumbers 200 grams (2 pieces),
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoons

Cooking method

Hard-boil the eggs and cool them with cold water - this will make them easier to peel. Remove the shell from them. Remove the yolk from two eggs and set aside - you will need it for decoration. Chop everything else finely enough.

Add canned corn.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into small pieces.

If you have frozen crab sticks, you need to remove them from the refrigerator in advance so that they thaw. Remove them from the packages, set one aside for decoration, and cut the rest into smaller pieces. Sprinkle with ground pepper, salt, add mayonnaise.

Stir.

Place the finished salad in portions on plates. If you want it to look like mine, use a medium-sized serving ring.

Grate the yolk and sprinkle it on top of the salad. Cut the reserved crab stick diagonally and decorate the top and sides of the salad.

It turned out to be a very unusual holiday treat.

Bon appetit!
