How to bake shrimp in the oven. Shrimp baked in the oven with garlic and pepper sauces. Shrimp kebab

Without undue modesty, I can say that I have perfected the process of roasting shrimp. I'm proud of myself and sharing it with you. I posted the sauces in separate posts, because they can be useful in different cases, not just with shrimp. This is a Mediterranean option, next time when it comes to shrimp, I’ll tell you about Asian motifs.

Ingredients for 2 servings (full meal) or 6-8 servings as snacks:
800 grams of shrimp, preferably raw (thawed)
about the shrimp, this time they are very large 26/30 grams, but if you bought smaller ones, you will need to reduce the baking time.

For the marinade:
Juice of one lemon
4 tablespoons refined oil (I prefer olive oil)
2 tbsp. spoons of dry oregano
4 cloves garlic finely chopped

Process:
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl, add the shrimp, mix thoroughly and marinate for at least three hours, or preferably overnight. Stir occasionally as the sauce settles to the bottom.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, line the baking sheet with parchment, it does two necessary things at once - it protects the shrimp from the heat from below, and allows you to avoid scrubbing the baking sheet later. Place the shrimp in a single layer on parchment paper along with the marinade. Bake for 8 minutes.

I specially filmed the process: here are the shrimp after 5 minutes, in the left corner of the photo you can see that some parts of the shrimp are still transparent - it is half-raw

8 minutes, shrimp are ready. They are juicy, crispy, perfectly baked and delicious.

You can serve with the marinade in which the shrimp were baked, but I suggest you also make sauces. It turns out very beautiful.

Ingredients:

  • raw shrimp - 900 g - 1 kg;
  • hard cheese - 200 g;
  • mayonnaise (or sour cream) - 3 table. spoons;
  • dried garlic - 1 table. spoon;
  • salt.

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the shrimp.

Defrost the shrimp and peel them from the shell. First of all, carefully pull out the legs, taking the shrimp by the head and turning it belly up. Then we remove the head by pulling it and pulling the shell through the tail. The tail itself can also be removed or left in place. Place the peeled shrimp in a colander and rinse under cold running water. Place the washed shrimp on a paper towel to dry.

Step 2: Prepare the sauce.

Place the butter in a bowl and melt it in a water bath: take a pan with a diameter larger than the bowl, pour water into it and place the bowl in the pan. We put the pan on low heat, the water will boil, and it will heat the bowl of butter, and the butter will melt. Heat the oil, stirring occasionally, until it is completely dissolved. Remove the melted butter from the heat and cool slightly. Peel the garlic and crush it using a garlic press. In a bowl, mix Worcestershire sauce with butter, lemon juice, garlic, and hot chili sauce. Add black pepper, salt and spices. Mix the sauce thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is formed.

Step 3: Bake the shrimp.

Line a baking pan or baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the shrimp in a baking dish and pour the sauce on top. Stir the shrimp so that they are covered with sauce on all sides and distribute them in the pan in one layer. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and bake the shrimp for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4: Serve the baked shrimp.

We take the finished shrimps out of the oven, let them cool a little, and put them on a dish. The dish can be pre-garnished with lettuce leaves. Serve the shrimp with lemon wedges, the juice of which can be sprinkled on the shrimp before eating. Bon appetit!

You can take shrimp either ready-made (pink) or raw (gray-green).

Before cleaning, you can immerse the shrimp in boiling water for a couple of minutes, then they will be easier to clean.

Worcestershire sauce can be replaced with another sweet and sour sauce of your choice.

The chili pepper sauce can be replaced with another hot sauce, as well as with pre-chopped hot pepper itself.

You can choose spices to your taste or do without them altogether. Nutmeg and basil go well with shrimp.
